(5) Things we love…#126

Posted in Things We Love

Sometimes, you just need zebras. I promise none of the animals in this week’s edition are sappy stories about real animals. The John Oliver’s segment on zebras had me in stitches and, during the past week, zebras popped into my minds when I most needed them. Goes to show my mind might be seriously warped….happy Friday!

One. Grace and Frankie are back. New season, the third, starts on Netflix tonight.

Two. A zebra makes everything better. I promise you this will change your day.

Three. Ever wondered what happens when a Queen dies? Queen Elizabeth is not on her deathbed but the British Government has a precise plan for when she will be. The Guardian leaked the plan, interesting detail by interesting detail. Fascinating read.

Four. A brilliant marketing strategy to get the reader to focus on what really matters.

Five. With the new electronics ban in place, if you are travelling from certain countries, Royal Jordanian went to the attack with their list of suggestions. It’s funny – until it’s not.

  3. Love the ‘making lemonade from lemons’ mantra that Royal Jordanian is trying to proffer in an age of overly plugged-in peeps. And yes, the zebra segment on John Oliver was brilliant.
