Sofagirl: Resolutions 2015

10660143_10153311600546982_1421432677653320254_n“One never notices what has been done,” Marie Curie once wrote in a letter to her brother (after receiving her second graduate degree): “”one can only see what remains to be done.”  Sounds like me and the way I thought last year. 2014 was so busy, so much passed in a blur, so much deserved a quiet moment of recognition. A nod, a tip of a hat, a wink. But life was too busy happening for me to do that. It was a weird year, but it was a good year. I didn’t get to all of my intentions, but I got a lot done. And I am glad for that. But here we are – on the doormat of a new year and I want to reset. So here are my three resolutions (this time, not intentions) for 2015

1.More Now:
Notice what has been done. Take a moment every day to acknowledge the journey from wake to sleep. Live in the present.

More yoga.
Every day – a small celebration of my healthy body.

More professional mani- and pedicures.
Grooming is all.

May your year be full of small victories and large cocktails.

    Wise girl. When I started reading this I thought I’d enjoy myself with at least a list of 5 or 6 points.
    Nope! Three clear and simple resolutions. You’ve come a long way. Happy life darling.
