A little stroll down memory lane .. toys of the 60s and 70s

Clackers, marbles, yo-yos. Fischer-Price Garages and Kitchens, Bright green slime, plasticine, laugh-bags. Enid Blyton, Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. Space Hoppers and Chopper bikes … all of these things helped make us Baby Boomers the great folks we are today.  I thought it was time for a little homage.

  2. I still have a Chinese Checker game just like the one in your photo. It’s in excellent condition too! Mine is red. I also had the plastic records and “phonograph” that went with it. It was the first time I heard “Clair de lune,” one of my favorite melodies! I think about that toy occasionally. Wish I could remember the other records that came with it. I think I had the spinning top too and multiple kaleidoscopes which I loved!

  3. Wow….so many flashbacks!! My brother used to pretend to sneeze and have the green slime oozing through his fingers….haha. Thanks for the memories. 🙂
